Wembley 1958 Crest Badge
Wembley 1958 Crest Badge - White is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
These commemorative pin badges depict the special crest worn by Manchester United during the 1958 FA Cup Final at Wembley.
This iconic emblem, featuring a golden eagle (often interpreted as a phoenix rising from the ashes), was a powerful symbol for the club following the tragic Munich air disaster just months earlier.
These pins are modern reproductions, typically available in different colour variations like the white and red versions shown, and serve as poignant tributes to the legendary Busby Babes.
The crest itself is steeped in local history, as the eagle and the "mural crown" were elements taken from the official Manchester City Council coat of arms of that era.
Although United eventually lost the final 2-0 to Bolton Wanderers, reaching Wembley with a patchwork team of survivors and new signings remains one of the most emotional chapters in the club’s history.
Today, these badges are popular collectors' items for fans wishing to honour the resilience and spirit shown by the club during that period.
