OUR CAMPAIGN

Manchester United supporters across the globe are coming together with a shared vision for the club’s future. Led by MUST and IMUSA, and supported by fans and fanzines worldwide, we are united in our call for new ownership that aligns with the values of the supporters and is committed to long-term investment in the club’s success.

MUST'S GOALS

Our goal is clear: to build a future in which Manchester United supporters hold a meaningful ownership stake in the club. We believe that with unity, determination, and a shared commitment, this vision is not only achievable but essential for the long-term success of United. See more details here

SUPPORTER OWNERSHIP

Supporter ownership is a proven model at clubs around the world, though it can take many forms. For us, it represents a powerful way to ensure fans have a real voice in the future of Manchester United.

HISTORY

The 1998–1999 season marked the pinnacle of footballing achievement but it was also a landmark moment off the pitch. In a true David vs. Goliath story, a determined group of supporter-shareholders played a crucial role in blocking a takeover of Manchester United by Rupert Murdoch and BSkyB. Click here to discover the origins of this movement, which began as Shareholders United Against Murdoch (SUAM), and learn how fans stood up to protect the soul of the club.

ORGANISATION

As the official Supporters' Trust of Manchester United, MUST operates independently of the Club as a democratic, not-for-profit organisation. We offer a range of membership options, from Full Membership with voting rights to our free Lite Membership, which keeps fans connected through updates and campaigns. At our core, we are United supporters — just like you — working together to represent the voice of the fanbase.

WHO WE ARE

The Manchester United Supporters Trust is working to build a future for Manchester United where the views, needs, priorities and interests of all supporters are central to the running of the club.

While we are the official Supporters Trust of Manchester United, we are independent of the Club and operate as a democratic Membership organisation with different membership types ranging from Full Members with voting rights through to our Lite Membership which is free, though without formal voting rights.

MUST IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR NEW PEOPLE TO GET INVOLVED. WE ARE A VOLUNTEER ORGANISATION THAT DEPENDS ON THE COLLECTIVE EFFORTS OF ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS.
