Roses Are Red Flag 3ft x 2ft (90 x 60cm)
Roses Are Red Flag 3ft x 2ft (90 x 60cm) is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This Roses Are Red flag celebrates the deep cultural bond between Manchester United and The Stone Roses, one of the city’s most influential bands.
The top line, featuring paint-splattered letters and lemon iconography, is a direct nod to the band’s legendary eponymous debut album artwork designed by John Squire.
The phrase "Roses Are Red" cleverly blends the band’s name with the club’s famous nickname, reinforced by the iconic Red Devil crest standing alongside it.
This connection is more than just hometown pride; band members like Ian Brown and the late Mani (Gary Mounfield) have been lifelong, passionate "Reds" and season-ticket holders.
Their music has become part of the club's DNA, most notably with the track "This Is The One," which has served as the team's walk-out anthem at Old Trafford for over 20 years.
Displaying this banner is a tribute to a unique era where Manchester's music and football scenes perfectly coincided to define the city's identity.
