Playing in Your Town Flag 3ft x 2ft (90 x 60cm)
Playing in Your Town Flag 3ft x 2ft (90 x 60cm) is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This Playing in Your Town flag is a poignant tribute to the Busby Babes, the exceptionally talented Manchester United squad of the 1950s.
The central image captures the youthful exuberance of the team, featuring legendary players like Duncan Edwards and Tommy Taylor leaping in the air during a training session.
The text "When they're playing in your town" is a line from the famous fan chant "The Flowers of Manchester," which commemorates the players lost in the 1958 Munich Air Disaster.
Despite the small grammatical error on the banner ("their"), it remains a powerful symbol of the club's "never say die" spirit and its commitment to nurturing young talent.
For supporters, displaying this flag is a way to ensure that the legacy of those "flowers of Manchester" is never forgotten.
It serves as a reminder of a team that many believe was destined to dominate European football for a generation.
