Manchester Shield & Bee Badge

SKU: 423
£4.00

This pin badge brings together the historic heraldry of Manchester United with the most famous symbol of the city itself: the Manchester worker bee.

On the left, the vintage-style club shield features a merchant ship representing the Manchester Ship Canal and three diagonal stripes symbolising the three rivers — the Irwell, the Irk, and the Medlock — that flow through the city.

To the right, the worker bee is a powerful emblem of Manchester’s industrial heritage, first added to the city's coat of arms in 1842 to represent its "hive of activity" during the Industrial Revolution.

Who we are

The Manchester United Supporters Trust is working to build a future for Manchester United where the views, needs, priorities and interests of all supporters are central to the running of the club.

While we are the official Supporters Trust of Manchester United, we are independent of the
Club and operate as a democratic Membership organisation with different membership types
ranging from Full Members with voting rights through to our Lite Membership which is free,
though without formal voting rights.

MUST IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR NEW PEOPLE TO GET INVOLVED. WE ARE A VOLUNTEER ORGANISATION THAT DEPENDS ON THE COLLECTIVE EFFORTS OF ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS.
