ICJ' To Pay Is To Fail Badge
ICJ' To Pay Is To Fail Badge is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This circular enamel badge is a piece of Manchester United subculture memorabilia, specifically referencing the notorious Inter City Jibbers (ICJ), a subset of the club's "Red Army" fan firm.
The central design features a stylized figure wearing a bucket hat—a staple of Manchester’s casual terrace fashion—against the backdrop of the club's traditional red and white colours.
The abbreviation "ICJ" at the top and the bold mantra "TO PAY IS TO FAIL" around the border highlight the group's "jibbing" philosophy: a tradition of finding creative ways to evade payment for match tickets and travel to follow the team across Europe.
Flanking the central figure are the distinct red symbols of the British Rail double-arrow logo, emphasising the group's historical connection to rail travel.
This badge is a popular collector's item for those interested in the darker, more rebellious side of United's terrace history.
