George Best 7 Shirt Badge

SKU: 627
£4.00

These enamel pin badges celebrate the "Belfast Boy," George Best, featuring his legendary number 7 across both the classic red home kit and the iconic blue away strip.

The blue design is a specific tribute to the 1968 European Cup Final at Wembley, where Best scored a decisive goal in the 4–1 victory over Benfica to help United become the first English club to lift the trophy.

While Best famously wore several numbers during his career, his match-winning performance in that final cemented the number 7 as his most enduring symbol of greatness.

These high-quality pins, featuring a butterfly clasp, allow supporters to carry a piece of the 1968 Ballon d’Or winner’s legacy.

They serve as a poignant reminder of the player who arguably started the tradition of superstar icons wearing the number 7 at Old Trafford.

Who we are

The Manchester United Supporters Trust is working to build a future for Manchester United where the views, needs, priorities and interests of all supporters are central to the running of the club.

While we are the official Supporters Trust of Manchester United, we are independent of the
Club and operate as a democratic Membership organisation with different membership types
ranging from Full Members with voting rights through to our Lite Membership which is free,
though without formal voting rights.

MUST IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR NEW PEOPLE TO GET INVOLVED. WE ARE A VOLUNTEER ORGANISATION THAT DEPENDS ON THE COLLECTIVE EFFORTS OF ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS.
