George Best Celebration Badge

SKU: 625.1
£4.00

These enamel pin badges immortalise the "Belfast Boy," George Best, in a classic celebratory pose, capturing the sheer joy of his playmaking genius.

The design depicts Best in full stride with one arm raised high, a frequent sight at Old Trafford throughout the 1960s.

These pins are available in two versions, representing the club's traditional red home kit and the iconic blue away strip.

The blue badge is a specific tribute to the 1968 European Cup Final at Wembley, where Best scored a crucial solo goal during extra time in the 4–1 victory over Benfica.

United famously played in all-blue that night to avoid a kit clash with the Portuguese side, who also wore red.

For many supporters, this pose represents the pinnacle of Best’s career, the year he became the first United player since the Munich Air Disaster to win the Ballon d’Or.

though without formal voting rights.

MUST IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR NEW PEOPLE TO GET INVOLVED. WE ARE A VOLUNTEER ORGANISATION THAT DEPENDS ON THE COLLECTIVE EFFORTS OF ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS.
