European Champions Flag 3ft x 2ft (90 x 60cm)

SKU: 1045
£10.00

This European Champions flag celebrates Manchester United's prestigious history in European football, specifically their three triumphs in the continent's premier club competition.

The central imagery features the silhouettes of three European trophies, each marked with the year of victory: 68, 99, and 08. Beneath each trophy is the name of the city where the final was won: London, Barcelona, and Moscow.

In 1968, United became the first English club to lift the European Cup, defeating Benfica 4–1 at Wembley Stadium in London.

The 1999 victory at the Camp Nou in Barcelona is perhaps the most famous, where two injury-time goals secured a 2–1 win over Bayern Munich to complete a historic Treble.

Their most recent success came in 2008, when they defeated Chelsea on penalties in a dramatic all-English final held in Moscow.

The flag's simple white-on-red design follows the club's traditional colours and serves as a powerful reminder of their status among Europe's elite.

It remains a common sight at Old Trafford, representing decades of success under legendary managers Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson.
