Busby Babes Last Line Up "We'll Never Die" Flag
Busby Babes Last Line Up "We'll Never Die" Flag - 3ft x 2ft (90cm x 60cm) is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This flag is a solemn tribute to the "Busby Babes," the young and exceptionally talented Manchester United team of the 1950s.
The imagery captures the starting eleven that lined up for their very last match—a 3-3 draw against Red Star Belgrade on 5 February 1958—just one day before the Munich air disaster.
Tragically, eight of the players featured in this lineup, including captain Roger Byrne and the legendary Duncan Edwards, lost their lives as a result of the crash.
The slogan "WE'LL NEVER DIE" is a powerful expression of defiance and resilience that has become a core part of the club's identity.
It originates from a popular terrace chant that vows to keep the memory and spirit of the fallen players alive for every future generation of supporters.
For many fans, this flag represents the definitive moment when the club's "never say die" philosophy was truly born.
