Bill Foulkes Signed 1963 FA Cup Winner Framed Photo Print
Bill Foulkes Signed 1963 FA Cup Winner Framed Photo Print is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This historic commemorative print features a captivating black-and-white photograph with selective colour detailing from a momentous day in English football history.
The image captures the pre-match presentation at Wembley Stadium, showing HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, being introduced to Manchester United defender Bill Foulkes, who stands out proudly highlighted in his iconic red match jersey.
The lower mount features a detailed printed caption recording the match particulars under the distinct title, "Manchester United – 1963 FA Cup Winners".
The photograph holds immense historical significance as it documents the build-up to the 1963 FA Cup Final on 25 May, where Manchester United defeated Leicester City 3–1.
This victory was a major turning point for the club, marking the first piece of major silverware won by United following the 1958 Munich air disaster and proving that Sir Matt Busby's rebuilt side was ready to challenge at the very top once again.
Bill Foulkes put in a commanding defensive performance that afternoon to help secure the trophy, with goals from Denis Law and David Herd sealing the historic win.
This exceptional collector's item features a bold, authentic autograph hand-signed in blue ink by Bill Foulkes directly beneath the central photograph, accompanied by a clear embossed stamp of authenticity on the mount.
This item is accompanied by a dedicated certificate of authenticity, providing a complete guarantee that the autograph is entirely authentic.
