This "1966 Was a Great Year" flag with Eric Cantona features a slogan, which irreverently subverts the significance of 1966, the year England famously won its only World Cup, by claiming the year was actually great because it was when Cantona was born.
Known as "The King" by the Old Trafford faithful, Cantona was a transformative figure who helped lead the club to four Premier League titles and two FA Cup doubles in just five seasons.
The imagery on the flag features his iconic portrait set against the St George's Cross, reflecting his massive cultural impact on English football during the 1990s.
It remains a staple piece of memorabilia for fans, often displayed to honour the player many credit with revitalising the club's modern era.

From 1 July 2026, the €150 exemption will be removed. Instead, a €3 duty per line item will be charged for goods up to €150.
