This historic commemorative print features a deeply poignant photograph with selective colour detailing of the legendary "Busby Babes".
The striking image captures the Manchester United squad lined up shoulder-to-shoulder on the pitch, highlighted in their iconic red shirts and white shorts against a black-and-white background.
The lower mount features a detailed printed caption identifying the monumental occasion under the title, "February 5, 1958 – The Last Line Up", with a listing of the players from left to right: Duncan Edwards, Eddie Colman, Mark Jones, Ken Morgans, Bobby Charlton, Dennis Viollet, Tommy Taylor, Bill Foulkes, Harry Gregg, Albert Scanlon, and Roger Byrne.
The photograph carries profound and unmatched historical significance as it captures the final time this immortal team ever stood together on a football pitch.
Taken in Belgrade just prior to the European Cup quarter-final second leg against Red Star Belgrade, the match ended in a 3–3 draw to secure United's passage to the semi-finals.
Tragically, the following day on 6 February 1958, the plane carrying the team crashed on takeoff in Munich, claiming twenty-three lives, including eight of the young players pictured in this line-up.
This exceptional collector's piece is hand-signed across the mount by four heroic survivors of the tragedy, featuring the authentic autographs of Ken Morgans on the far left, Bill Foulkes, Harry Gregg, and Albert Scanlon across the centre, completely verified by a dedicated commemorative plaque below.
