The number of words written about George Best would fill a small library. The stories of his gambling, womanising and drinking are as well known as his footballing exploits. This though was not the Irishman's choice, George was ultimately only interested in the footballing. Phil Hughes was George's best friend and agent for almost 20 years. On numerous occasions, George told him that he would like to be remembered for his football - so Phil decided his wish should be committed to print. And don't bother to look for any mistakes or omissions in there because I suspect you won't find any (one or two minor typos excepted). As detailed an account as you're likely to find.
